Release clause met:

- Delaying it so we can claim it came late in the day and had no time to buy?
- Trying to get Wyke a better move?

I just don't get why it is taking so long.

According to Stuart McCall.

Keith is probably resigned to losing him and is hanging out for more money, leaving it late though I must say.

Bradford have met his release clause - £250k.

Think the delay is in the wording around the clause. Could be that they don't want to give it out in one go whereas we're insisting they do. So they're checking the fine print etc.

Curle is in dreamland if he thinks someone will pay £4/500k when they only need to pay £250k!

If there is a release clause, the Club will want an auction process-Bradford coming in low but KC trying to get an auction going?

The clause could be similar to one of Suarez' where when they meet it the club have to inform the player.

Am sure I heard that Ipswich were interested at one stage, maybe that is the Championship club that Keith was referring to - maybe just like the billionaire they lost interest quickly and Keith is stirring it up a bit to worry Bradford.

Bradford have nothing to worry about, Ipswich could bid 5 million they still wouldn't have any priority to talk to Wyke.

No me neither because if you listen to certain people on here the trigger being met by one club that means thats where hes off to and theres nothing you can do to start an auction

Just a pity a Certain Mr Curle agrees with me that thats a load of crap as an auction is clearly what Curly Keith is now conducting.

Not Curle made no secret but the scout in question if its the club we think it might be he.d struggle not to be recognised

And Curle has a very good reason for wanting that deal to go thru rather than the Bradford one and its nothing to do with money

If you listen to his interveiw again after youve heard this then it makes a hell of a lot more sense than it did before.

Because Curles obviously playing some sort of game in manipulating whats happening into his and the clubs favour and i cant see how naming names and clubs at this stage can help but Bradford knowing their 250k bid isnt likely to get him because Curles outsmarted him cant do any harm

And the info given fits different clubs in different ways but the fact that ENS and RC have both posted some of what they know proves that the story definitely has legs.

Suspect it is likely to be Ipswich or Rotherham if championship teams.
Wyke is a McCarthy type of player, and they never replaced the lad who went to Newcastle.
Rotherham will need to replace Ward.

Not sure if it's been mentioned on here yet, (I can't be arsed trawling through all the drivel posted by Northernsoul and lazylewisguy) but what's this crack about Wyke apparently being ready to take the club to court if they don't let him go to Bradford?

Not sure if it's been mentioned on here yet, (I can't be arsed trawling through all the drivel posted by Northernsoul and lazylewisguy) but what's this crack about Wyke apparently being ready to take the club to court if they don't let him go to Bradford?

Saw that on Twitter too, but isn't it just some muppet from Bradford claiming that ?

Aye all I've seen is the screenshot of a text message, nothing concrete. Hopefully it is just one of them lot talking rubbish. Speaking of fans on twitter, this whole Wyke situation hasn't half brought out the weird online fans hasn't it? Both carlisle and Bradford, some proper weird folk about.

Anyone think that the main hold up could be Wyke himself? I fully expect Curle to have been in his ear about holding out for a championship club, whether that is in the summer or now. Putting money aside, we could be in the same division as Bradford in a few months.

The financial offer from Bradford will be a good one as they are desperate which will be tempting.
