Prepare to be disappointed and you can only be pleasantly surprised.

They have been in the Dutch Premier division for years and have a Population of 50k.

They are also fairly isolated up in Friesland.

Because SC Heerenveen kept growing and the results were getting better every year, the club planned the first expansion of the stadium in 2002. The capacity of the stadium was almost doubled to 26,100 seats.

Throughout the years empty spots in the stadium were filled with seats. Together with some other changes in the stadium the number of seats increased to the current 26,800.

In 2011 there was a plan to have another expansion of the stadium, taking the capacity to 32,000. The construction should be ready for the start of the 2012/2013 Eredivisie season. The reason for the expansion is the ever growing waiting list for the club's season tickets.

Along with that, more people in the stadium means more income which leads to a bigger budget for the club to work with. However, this expansion was seen as too risky and financially unfeasible.

There were plans to expand the stadium to 29,000 seats over the course of the summer of 2012, however the economic downturn shelved these plans.'

I'd be surprised if they'd have even heard of Heerenveen, let alone which country they are from.

The conveyor belt at Carlisle will only stop when we have a the right squad and a winning attitude, and for that you need lot's of loot.

In those who make the decisions at CUFC, I believe we have a few with that attitude, however, I also believe we have a few at the top who believe "we are Carlisle United, in the North West of England" and have accepted that, in there view the circumstances in footy have changed, and we will always be a lower league Club.

They should study the likes of Heerenveen, look at the catchment area and what has been achieved.

I still can't get why people wouldn't want John Mcgreal , he knows league 2 was sacked by Colchester having taken them to a Playoff semi final in a very harsh fashion , they have exactly flourished since .

His football isn't not awful and he signs young players works with them

I don't think it's happened before but I agree with Piglet, absolute no to Billy Davis.

I would be happy with Tidsdale, nice bloke who believes in youth but doubt he would want to move so far North.

It needs to be someone strong, he will virtually have to carry a load of young players to the January window. Left field shot Curtis Woodhouse.

Theoretically if we win our next 3 games in a row playing good football , would people be happy to give Skelton more time ? (I'm thinking no personally )

He used to be a good manager, I'll give you that, and probably back when you were office boy at Motherwell. However that second spell at Forest really demonstrated how much he'd lost the plot.

"Davies' second spell proved to be a controversial and damaging one. He dismissed long-serving club staff without explanation, shouted at a photographer taking photos for the club's matchday programme after a match at Millwall, banned journalists as part of a "near media blackout", and employed his cousin, Jim Price, a suspended solicitor, as his closest advisor.

After an eight-game winless run left Nottingham Forest one place and two points outside of the play-off positions, and having seen his side lose 5-0 to local rivals Derby County two days earlier, Davies was dismissed on 24 March 2014. I can really see Tisdale fitting in with the Paddock, Cravat and all. They'd fit like a glove.

He seems to be the type who would enjoy digs in the Lake District too.

Absolute Chalk and Cheese to the style Beech played but would suit the squad we have much better.
